We aim to respond as quickly as possible, day or night. Response times can vary depending on your location and the time of the call, but we always prioritise genuine emergencies.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Burst pipes, gas leaks, sewer overflows, no hot water and blocked drains backing up into the house are all situations we treat as urgent. If you’re unsure, just call and we’ll let you know.
Do you charge more for after-hours callouts?
After hours and emergency callouts may have a different rate to standard bookings. We’ll always be upfront about pricing before any work begins, regardless of the time.
What should I do while I wait for you to arrive?
For burst pipes, shut off your water at the mains if you can. For a gas leak, turn off the supply if it’s safe to do so and avoid using switches or flames. We can talk you through it over the phone too.
